Poker: The Prague Mind Sports Festival

If you played your poker on the European circuit, last year, then you will be aware that one of the successes of the year was the creation of the Prague Poker Festival.

It was the poker event and management consultancy firm, Living it Loving it, that managed to pull the European Poker Tour (EPT), World Poker Tour (WPT), and the Grand Series of Poker (GSOP) together to run concurrently for the first time ever.

The move allowed poker players to travel over to Europe from the United States, safe in the knowledge that they were getting three tournaments rolled into one. If you include the side event and cash action that was also available, it was a huge success for poker players.

This year, Living it Loving it plan to go one step further, with the launch of Mind Sports (International).

“Our goal is to connect online gaming networks and land-based casinos in a way that brings value to all parties, especially players and customers who are looking for engaging experiences, and the best live events across the world of gaming and mind sports,” commented Dave Brannan, Managing Director, Living it Loving it Ltd.

Later this year, the Prague Poker Festival will also include the newly launched Prague Mind Sports Festival, which will run between Dec 1-4, and will include events for games such as Backgammon, Scrabble, Risk, and eSports, including League of Legends and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.

With more and more of the new crop of poker players coming from the video game community, the Prague festival promises to be a huge success.
